QR-CONNECTED CLOTHING · SEE IT IN ACTION
See how attention becomes a conversation, a scan and a connection.
QR connectivity is an optional addition to your clothing project. Garment production, QR setup and ongoing service charges are identified separately before you commit.
A face, an image or a striking design catches someone’s attention. They ask about it. The wearer shares the story and invites them to scan.
The King of Steam develops wearable QR campaigns that connect custom apparel to a brand film, website or product story. Chuck and Vilma help plan the garment, the message and the next action for your audience.
Wear the story. Start a conversation. Invite a scan. From garment to website. A scan. A link. The story continues.

Visuals: Sony lettering on Vilma’s apparel, Chuck and Vilma talking with attendees, a close-up garment QR code, and a phone scanning the code and loading a webpage. This edited field footage documents those visible actions; it does not establish a Sony endorsement or report measured campaign outcomes.
From attention to intention
For a launch, an event or a sales conversation, start with the people you want to reach and the action you want them to take. The campaign connects the garment, the wearer’s invitation, the film and the response.
Agree on the message, where the garment will be worn and what a useful response looks like.
Coordinate the apparel, the wearer’s conversation, a 30-second brand film and one destination.
Record conversations and invitations, then review attributed visits, film engagement and inquiries where tracking is configured.
We confirm the campaign’s deliverables, price, production limits and measurement plan before work begins. This page demonstrates KOS. A client campaign leads to that client’s film and chosen action.
The 29-second field film above follows Chuck and Vilma at WPPI. It shows Sony lettering on Vilma’s apparel, conversations with attendees, and a phone scanning a garment QR code and opening a webpage.
This is the practical connection behind a wearable campaign: the garment draws attention, a conversation introduces the story, and an invited scan opens the digital destination. The film documents that sequence. It does not provide a conversion rate, sales result or proof of brand endorsement.
For a client project, we agree on the audience, garment, destination and intended response before production. Where measurement is configured, we can review attributed visits and inquiries against those goals.
A code can open a website, brand film, product story or inquiry page. The destination should explain what the person scanned and offer a clear next step.
Yes, if the printed code uses a managed redirect address. The printed pattern stays the same while the destination can be updated. That requires maintaining the domain and redirect service.
Scanning depends on code size, contrast, fabric texture, folds and stretching. Test the printed sample while worn and after washing before approving production.
The garment, quantity, artwork, sampling, production method and digital content determine the scope. We confirm prices and timelines for the individual project.
Agree on a useful outcome before launch, such as a product inquiry or completed purchase. Where tracking is configured, distinguish visits from inquiries and sales. A scan alone is not evidence of a sale.
