Privacy Policy
This policy explains how The King of Steam and The Factory Runway handle information submitted through this website, its forms and garment QR experiences.
Information We Collect
Depending on the form or experience you use, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, city and state, garment scan source, timestamp, message, event availability, modeling experience, physical measurements, hair and eye color, tattoo and piercing information, photographs, and links to walk videos.
Our QR pages may also record the page address, garment identifier contained in the URL, browser information and submission time. We do not use the QR page as a requirement to provide an email address.
How We Use Information
- Respond to questions and collaboration requests.
- Send requested podcast, event and learning-center updates.
- Follow up after events and garment scans.
- Review Factory Runway casting applications and schedule fittings or callbacks.
- Protect the website, diagnose delivery problems and maintain submission records.
Marketing email is sent only when a person gives the applicable consent. Each marketing message will include a clear way to unsubscribe.
Casting Photos and Likeness
Casting photographs, video links and measurements are used to evaluate applicants for The Factory Runway. Promotional or editorial use of a submitted likeness occurs only under the image-release language accepted on the casting form or a separate written agreement.
Access and Service Providers
Chuck Coleman and Vilma Biliene are the only King of Steam personnel authorized to review submitted information. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Information may be processed by vendors needed to operate the service, including GoDaddy and WordPress hosting, Fluent Forms, website email-delivery services and, when connected, Google Sheets. These providers process information to supply their services and are not authorized by us to sell it.
Retention
General inquiries, QR contacts and update requests are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. Casting applications and uploaded media are normally retained for up to 12 months after the relevant event unless an applicant is booked, requests earlier deletion, or a longer period is required for an agreement, dispute or legal obligation. Backups may retain deleted information for a limited additional period before routine rotation.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask what information we have about you, correct it, withdraw marketing consent, unsubscribe, or request deletion. Email chuck@thekingofsteam.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify the request before acting. Rights can vary by location.
Security and International Processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, access controls and limited permissions. No website, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Children
The Factory Runway casting application is limited to people age 18 or older. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
